Please be sure to read John McCain’s press release regarding the “Stop Iran” rally at the very bottom of this email.
We are livid; we are outraged.
A couple of hours ago we learned that Governor Sarah Palin, the Republican nominee for Vice President of the United States, had been disinvited from the anti-Iran UN rally this coming Monday in New York City that is being sponsored by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Hillary Clinton had agreed to speak at the rally, but abruptly canceled her engagement upon learning that Mrs. Palin would also be participating at the important event, that will coincide with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to the UN. We are shocked and angered at your decision, Malcolm (Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents), to disinvite this true friend of Israel and the Jewish People!
We, too, had invited both Mrs. Clinton and Mrs. Palin to be at our rally to help save Israel and America. Upon hearing about Hillary’s childish political stunt of canceling her support at your rally, we disinvited her from ours (see below). Our invitation to Governor Palin still enthusiastically and optimistically stands.
Malcolm, everything you do in your position of power and influence should be focused on preventing a second Holocaust by shouting: “NO TO LEGITIMIZING AHMADINEJAD; NO TO A NUCLEAR IRAN; NO TO THE DIVISION OF JERUSALEM; AND NO TO THE TWO-STATE FARCE.” Why are you playing games at this most critical time, when the survival of Israel and America are at stake? You have prevented one of Israel’s strongest supporters, a woman who may very well be the next Vice President of the United States, from advocating on behalf of Israel and America at your rally. Not only that, you have publicly humiliated her!!! How could you make such a foolish and destructive decision? And, you humiliated all of us…all Jews and non-Jews alike who are fighting the Islamic terrorists.
We want Sarah Palin to speak out at our Sunday rally and every future rally she attends, against Ahmadinejad and a nuclear Iran, against the division of Jerusalem and against the two-state farce. Instead of supporting two rallies, ours (see below) and yours, and two vital opportunities for unity and international media attention, you chose to support Barack Obama’s pro-terrorist, appeasement politics. You have turned the focus away from Israel – away from Iran, Jerusalem and the two-state farce –by shielding the American public from Governor Palin’s stance on these critical issues after learning that Obama’s pro-terrorist, appeasement policy would not be represented at your rally, through Clinton. However, Obama’s pro-terrorist, appeasement politics is now represented by you, Malcolm Hoenlein, because you removed Sarah Palin, the person who best represents Israel’s and America’s interests in this emergency, from the rally. And, thus, you are impacting the November election.
You have put all of us in greater danger as a result of this foolish partisan political maneuvering – the same type of plotting that has allowed Olmert and Livni to threaten Israel’s very existence. This kind of destructive behavior does not serve the Jewish People here or in Israel; nor does it help secure peace in the Middle East or anywhere else in the world, no more than do the policies of Obama, Olmert or Livni. Our policies do serve peace. With G-d’s help, we will demand the arrest and prosecution of Ahmadinejad, and we will demand that Iran be prevented from obtaining nuclear weapons. We will keep Jerusalem united, and we will make the volatile two-state farce a distant memory. You and your colleagues who lack the strength to act in Israel’s best interest are no longer relevant to the struggle for these critical goals.

JTA Breaking News
Palin disinvited from Iran rally
Sarah Palin was disinvited from the Jewish-sponsored anti-Iran rally.
The move follows two days of controversy for organizers of next Monday’s rally to protest Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the United Nations.
The controversy erupted after JTA reported that Palin, the Republican vice-presidential nominee, had accepted an invitation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations to speak at the event. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), who had accepted a similar invitation several weeks earlier, announced she was withdrawing from the event.
A Clinton spokesperson said the senator was concerned the rally had become “a partisan political event.”
Republicans responded by slamming Clinton for putting partisanship above the effort to stop Iran by pulling out of the rally. Palin “believes that the danger of a nuclear Iran is greater than party or politics,” Palin spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt said.
The National Jewish Democratic Council defended Clinton's decision not to attend and called for Palin to be disinvited so as to preserve the nonpartisan nature of the effort to halt Iran's nuclear ambitions.
On Thursday afternoon, the Conference of Presidents held a conference call for organizers of the rally at which the decision was made to limit participation in the rally to unelected officials.
Organizers put out a statement on Thursday afternoon saying, "In order to keep the focus on Iranian threats and to ensure that this critical message not be obscured, the organizers of the rally have decided not to have any American political personalities appear."
Dear NY media:
If you'd like to do any interviews in advance, please call me at 305-864-5110 . Also, I will be in NYC on Fri. if you want to meet.
Thanks. Bob Kunst
Subject: "HILLARY DIS-INVITED TO OUR NEW YORK EVENT"
Yesterday, when we heard you would be at the Rally against Iran's nukes at the UN on 9/22/08, we also invited you to be at our rally on 9/21/08. See below our statement to Mr. Woodard in your D.C. office.
However, when driving into NY and heard on the Bob Grant radio show that you were backing out of this event because of Gov. Palin, also being there, we at Shalom International, now DIS-INVITE you our own event at the UN on 9/21.
If you can't put aside your stupid politics to be with the Jewish community in its time of crisis on Iran having nukes to destroy Israel with, and instead are obsessed with Gov. Palin being there, you have proven that you aren't worthy or trustworthy on these issues.
Besides "No Nukes For Iran", our '1000 Shofars' blowing at the UN on 'world peace day', was also focused on Keeping Jerusalem United and NO Palestinian Terror State, with all three issues meaning the demise of Israel and the U.S..
How could you be this stupid?
Today's N.Y. Daily News headline on Page 14 blared: "WHATSAMATTA- HIL, YA SCARED?"
When I started your campaign five years ago, went to 210 cities, did over 1000 media and put out thousands of stickers, buttons, cookies, tee-shirts on your behalf as the ONLY grassroots effort on your behalf, and 480 News releases of our experience, we met 3 times, but never got a call from your headquarters.
We pleaded that you needed to do 'grassroots', not just the big money folks.
We pleaded that you needed to go after the 'delegates' and not just the votes.
We pleaded that you should be independent and even run independent, instead of compromising everything to cater to those who stabbed you in the back from the DNC and party and we pleaded that the nation was in danger and needed a real leader while you were more interested in paying off your debt.
Now when Obama is willing to be with McCain for "9/11" memorial ceremonies to forget politics for one day, you can't even stop to deal with Iran with nukes, so dangerous for America and Israel, because Gov. Palin will be there.
Just when are you going to stop listening to those in your camp, who have cost you the election and now this very aweful political back-stabbing that is already running through the Jewish community, in such a major sell-out.
How could you do this?
We are therefore no longer wanting you at our event, for you can't be trusted on these very critical issues.
It is so sad that you have fallen to this level. We will also post this on www.hillarynow.com
I believe you have done great damage to these issues and to your own credibility or lack thereof.

Eric Woodard, Scheduling Dir. for Sen. Hillary Clinton
Five years ago, I started Hillarynow.com and went to 210 cities and 1000 news interviews, plus, to start Hillary's campagn. Now I'm President of Shalom International (www.defendjerusalem.net
) in doing 55 events and 600 media on the issues below.
I understand that Sen. Clinton will be at the UN on Mon., Sept. 22 to rally against Iran having nukes.
Below is our rally a day earlier on this and in keeping Jerusalem United and no Palestinian terror state.
It would be terrific is she could also attend our event and bring her media.
This will be the key issue in the national election for the Jewish community, Christian Zionist Community and those who understand '9/11'.
It is also a key issue regarding the UN's support for terrorists while dumping on Israel and US for the last 60 yrs.
I've met Hillary on 3 occasions and please ask her if she could help us on this matter.

GLOBAL CALL FOR PEACE AND UNITY FOR ISRAEL
1,000 Shofar Blowers at the U.N.
1,000 more Shofar Blowers at the Western Wall and
1,000's more around the world
Join us at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, 47th Street and lst Avenue, across from the United Nations Bldg., in New York City, at 10:00 AM, Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, "World Peace Day" where we will march around the plaza seven times and at 12:00 Noon we will aim at the U.N. when they ring their peace bell. To show our contempt for the U.N. being controlled by the Muslims and oil countries that are anti-Jewish, anti-Israel, anti-Christian and anti-America.
The Shofar blowing is to bring down that “Wall of Hate” at the United Nations just as Joshua brought down the Walls of Jericho many centuries ago.
We will then march to the Israeli Consulate on 43rd Street and Second Avenue and repeat the Shofar blowing to remind everyone that The Jewish State with Jerusalem, our Eternal Capital, is not for sale and will not be divided. We then will return to the Plaza to continue the rally.
Let the United Nations, the nation and the world know how we feel about these issues as we honor our "Covenant" with G-d.

Statement by John McCain on the "Stop Iran" Rally
ARLINGTON, VA -- Today, U.S. Senator John McCain issued the following statement on the "Stop Iran" rally:
"Throughout my political career, I have sought to rise above partisanship on critical national issues. Nowhere is this more true than on important matters of national security. Earlier this year, Senator Clinton, Senator Obama and I issued a joint statement on the genocide in Darfur and pledged to support efforts to bring it to an end. Earlier this month, Senator Obama and I put the campaign aside to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our country and talk about the importance of national service.
"Next Monday, the day before Iranian President Ahmadinejad is to speak before the United Nations General Assembly, several organizations will sponsor an event to draw attention to the importance of halting Iran's efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. Governor Palin and I share a strong belief that a nuclear armed Iran poses a grave threat to the security of Americans and to our allies. Iran is the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism. The risk that Iran would provide terrorists with a nuclear weapon is too great for the world to ignore. Iranian President Ahmadinejad has denied the Holocaust occurred and called Israel a 'stinking corpse.' A nuclear-armed Iran would destabilize the entire region. Preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons should be a shared goal of every American, not another occasion for partisan posturing.
"Governor Palin was pleased to accept an invitation to address this rally and show her resolve on this grave national security issue, regrettably that invitation has since been withdrawn under pressure from Democratic partisans. We stand shoulder to shoulder with Republicans, Democrats and independents alike to oppose Ahmadinejad's goal of a nuclear armed Iran. Senator Obama's campaign had the opportunity to join us. Senator Obama chose politics rather than the national interest."
